OmniTech was incorporated in 2011. The company was originally established to support the offshore coatings inspection market. OmniTech has since expanded to provide both offshore & onshore coating, welding and NDT inspection services in the United States and abroad. Additionally, Omnitech provides certified/registered engineers, safety technicians and multi-discipline construction inspectors to industry.

Our Recent Projects

Talos Energy: Talos Tornado Project - Omnitech provides NACE Level 3 Coating Inspectors for pipe coating and spoolbase coating operations. The pipe was shipped overseas to the Port of Houston and transported to the pipe coatings plant. Our inspectors were the client representative and oversight for the FBE, GSPP and IMPU coating applications. We also verified material lab tests to include compression, hardness, tensile, shear, thermal conductivity and bend tests.

Murphy Oil: Medusa MC-582 - Omnitech provides NACE Level 3 Coating Inspection services to ensure project safety, specification compliance and daily QA/QC reporting. The project consists of anomaly identification using survey reports created from industry leading coatings inspection project management software. Surface remediation included SSPC-SP10 (WAB) cleaning standards followed with a 3 coat epoxy mastic and polyurethane topcoat system.

Genesis Energy: Wyoming Pipeline Project. Omnitech provides NACE Level 3 Coating Inspectors. Inspectors ensure that the field joint receives SSPC-SP10 surface preparation and properly coated with SP-2888. The inspectors monitor ambient conditions and surface temperature. Record material hardness with a Positector 6000 Durometer Shore D Probe. Observe ROW excavation and backfill operations. Our inspection personnel ensure the safety of workers and the public by taking a proactive approach and ensuring project specifications/ITP is strictly followed.

Cimarex Energy: Provided field project management services and NACE 3/AMMPP Senior Certified Inspection services. Coating inspections of tank battery and pipelines. Inspections at tank manufacturer's facilities. Material selection of coating systems, implementation of report forms, vetting of vendors and bid reviews.
